Martin Jol got just about everything right today.

I bet you didn't expect me to ever say that. Lets see if we can continue along that path. But today Martin gets a big  :clap_hands: from me.

I would have said fairly unbalanced, but that's just me  :54: But I agree with the summary in this instance.

zzamora

He was  tactically brilliant in this match.

He not only made RVP looked shocking, but also stifled any service to him. We had a slight problem with walcott, but then again so do most teams.

We were organised at set pieces, and our defence looked solid- the goal was a great unchecked run that most teams would find hard to deal with.

Up front it was superb- the interplay between Zamora, dembele, ruiz and demps was great- and looked good.

Etuhu stifled the midfield, and covered murphy to make passes like he did for the goal.

If i would change two things it would've been not taking zamora off, and replacing ruiz with frei, not with kasami, who seems to have lost it recently.

Well I never. Finn, you will become all luvey dovey with Liverpool next.

Steady on... I am sure that even Mr Finn may not go that far  :dft011:
