Konchesky LB and Zamora 16 goals, who ran Cannavaro ragged, a player I can assume Capello as an Italian who coached him at Real would rate got run ragged by Zamora, whilst Konchesky had a very solid game at left back?

Could we be looking at two suprise Fulham inclusions into Capello's World Cup squad?... I'm not saying they'll play, they may not even get on the bench but he must've seen enough of Zamora this time, with his hassling of Juve's back line and also his well taken goal and general play to think he has a good shout for the world cup...


That said though seeing Dempsey's goal must've made him worry about Englands opening game...

I totally agree. What more can Zamora possibly do? He played a cracking game today and proved a serious problem for a set of defenders who are not exactly weak, inexperienced or in any way incapable. The world cup would be far more exciting, for me as a Fulham fan, if Zamora was included.
