The image of the weekend was captured perfectly on MoTD last night.  Happy United supporters taking a double-take en-masse as suddenly a roar came up from the Sunderland supporters.

Cameras pointed at Sir Alex caught a slight change in expression, but for me Phil Jones open-mouthed in the back-ground was just classic.  I could have watched miserable Man U supporters all evening.

The Sunderland supporters, I believe, captured the mood of the vast majority of the nation in laughing whole-heartedly at Man Utd.

This does not make us Man C supporters, and I am sure that given a few titles, equally boastful support from City-top wearing youths from Surrey and I will be supporting as lowly Chelsea knock them off their pedestal.  OK so Chelsea might be a push too far, but you get the idea.  Shame about QPR - only real downer of the weekend.
