Yes, Fulham's own David Hamilton has been busy on a book about his life as a Fulham supporter. A Fulhamish Tale is his own real-life Fulham story - from supporting the club as a boy, to becoming a director of the club, right up to his time as the club's famed matchday announcer.
A Fulhamish Tale is an affectionate look at our club, full of wit and drama and lots of laughs (not all at Les Strong's expense).
Packed with colour pictures, including many from David's archive as well as Ashwater's Fulham archive, A Fulhamish Tale is a dazzling tour de force from a master of words.
David's wife is quoted as saying "unputdownable" - and she was definitely referring to the book.

The Equalizer

"We won't look back on this season with regret, but with pride. Because we won what many teams fail to win in a lifetime – an unprecedented degree of respect and support that saw British football fans unite and cheer on Fulham with heart." Mohammed Al Fayed, May 2010

I reckon Danny Murphy is a dead cert to write a book when he hangs up his boots, if he's not here in some sort of coaching role it'll be a brilliant read.

And just a little reminder for a new supporters or young uns too young to remember, Get Simon Morgans on song for promotion, absolutely superb book, and will give you an insight into what we was like when we were sheeeet.

Lighthouse

Ordered David Hamiltons book. Just the sort of thing to fill in the dull Summer Months before it  all starts again.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Can't see where 'On Song for Promotion' is being offered on their website - am I missing something?

...dgnffc, 'On Song For Promotion' was just a recommendation by Fat Freddy of another great book relating to Fulham. 'On Song For Promotion' has been out of print for some time and the only way you will get it is via sites similar to Amazon or e-bay, or even checking out in charity shops on the off chance of a copy; the last time I looked they were being sold for upwards of £50.00, but the price fluctuates so look out for a bargain. Good luck in getting a copy, it really is a cracking read...

Ah thanks. That's what I thought was the case, but I read into Banstead White's  response that they were available from Ashwater Press. My mistake. As you say, they're a bit out of my price range on Amazon!
