I am embarassed to say that I saw Gary Glitter live once - he was the star turn at Nottingham Uni's fresher's week concert in 1986. I only went for the beer, honest!!

My brother went to notts in about 88 he lived up lenton then forest fields and ended up staying, now in west bridge.
I have spent many a drunk afternoon there and nights in the beetroot,and going to see him and his kids this weekend the Stratford haven he we come.
