Who the hell are they going to get though? The likes of Martinez, Rogers and Lambert will be too low profile for them.

They all seem to want Rafa back...

Exactly, who would want that job that has any chops?

I'd consider Deschamps for the job. Good manager who was seriously linked with it when Hodgson was appointed and his contract runs out in June.

The Club are moving quite quickly though so credit them for that. The european fixtures for next season have just been announced. Swansea home and away.

Burt

Brave decision on the part of the owners, but the right one... In a way it is probably best for Kenny because at least the fans won't be calling for him to go.

I am so pleased to hear this news - good riddance to that miserable p***k  yee-haw!

The sad thing is that I used to really respect him, I have no love for Liverpool, but what he achieved back in the day was pretty incredible.
I only really started to hate him when Roy got the Pool job and he spent half a season undermining him.
"Dixie" Dean Coney - the legend lives on!

I'm glad he never got the chance to state that "Ma heid's no' in the right place", or " Ah need some space to m'sel'"...or some such twaddle. He has a history of chucking it in when the going got tough, now we see him in a true light.

to be fair Rafa did well first time round and I am the biggest anti-Liverpool a round. I can't stand them and their fans, they're all pathetic and always want to be the center of attention and don't get me started on Suarez.

I just hope Martin Jol don't fancy it, my nerves won't take another change in manager!
