Inclement weather at a Fulham Game

Wigan away. Springfield Park . November '96. 4 seasons in one day. Hot. Cold. Sun. Snow. Hale. Rain. Wind.  Graham Jones sent off for hitting Terry Angus and Rob Scott last minute equaliser. The good old days.

Blimey can't remember the four seasons in one day hot bit 😉it was cold,cold with sleet & snow.

Remember a trip to Boothferry Pk on TBT coach early 90's
Snowed quite heavy had to clear the lines on pitch at one stage.
And played with an orange ball .Think it was 1-1 .

Also was at Sunderland away when it snowed in April and got called off at half time.

Also remember a  New Years Eve game at Hartlepool 1994 early kick off.
Game in doubt right up to K.O .
Went ahead on what looked like an ice rink.
Open terrace with a freezing cold win blowing off the North Sea and covered in ice.
Had totally inappropriate clothes on.No socks !
Warmed up by the 2-1 win.

Also went season before in 1993 first game of season.
Not much warmer then in August .
But again a win 1-0.
Followed by a wild night in Scarborough on an overnight stop on the way home.
