Fulham linked with former PSG coach Antoine Komboare

French media have said that Fulham are interested in hiring former PSG manager Antoine Komboare to join our coaching team. Komboare is a former player at PSG and had a spell at Aberdeen as well. As a coach, he's been at Strasburg, Valenciennes and PSG.

This would be an interesting move as Jol had been linked with his former assistant Chris Hughton when he joined last summer and has had Ray Lewington and Billy McInlay in that role this season. You'd have to think if Komboare did join, it would be as Jol's assistant.

Mr Fulham

Very interesting indeed. I think Jol is more of an administrator in the Jack Peart sense...so he needs a man to do the whole training stuff. He did well with Hughton and now that Lewington will most likely be an England coach on a full-time basis I can see McKinlay doing the reserves role again - what at least reduced his first team duties.

Will be interesting to see whether Kombouare is eager to play second fiddle or not.
Hope he has got good contacts to his former player Clement Chantome. The guy is absolute class, apparently about to leave PSG and was linked with us in January.
