as Russia killed Italy away 0-3.

Pog on the bench for the full 90 mins. Looks like he will only play a bit part for the Russians in EC.

Pogrebnyak played poorly in their previous match too. I hope we sign him up... as a backup.

He is not nearly as good as first option Kerzhakov and Pavyluchenko is second option for the lone striker position.

Game was more even on balance of play than 3-0 suggests.   Italy had 2 late horrific errors gifting goals.

Actually, the paper said the match was in Zurich - so a neutral venue.

Maybe England should have arranged a similar neutral venue for the match against Belgium?
