What a snidey p****

It is now patently obvious who was behind Roy getting the tic tac from the Scousers!!
I used to have time for that bloke, but no more. Every remark he makes about England is based around "Weeeell they are playing like a typical Roy Hodgson team"

He is gagging for England to lose.

In a different thread The Moose describes Roy as a class act.

Bloody Right, something you'll never now be able to achieve Mr Carragher.

Feeling a bit empty...sure Finn would have added his tuppance worth to this thread.... much more elequently than I.
The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

EJL

One of the main reasons why I cannot stand ITV coverage.

zzamora

To be fair, I don't even understand what he's saying 100% of the time.

Berserker

I actually asked my friend who he was as he annoyed me the last time he was on with Childs and co. I suppose i should have known his name seeing he's so irritating and a Liverpool player

im sorry but we are playing like a typical roy side. is that not the reason the fa picked him? dear roy would you like the england job but ps we dont want england to play anything like any of your old teams have. cant see that can you. he was picked for what he has done and achieved with his style of the game.
CHRIS MARTIN IS SO BAD,  WE NOW PRAISE HIM FOR MAKING A RUN.

Ben... i think you missed the point ...we are all aware how Roy sets his sides up and I remember a time when I thought we would go through the entire season drawing 0-0.... but when we eventually learned how to lock the back door and the confidence started to corse through the collective veins we suddenly looked like a side to be reckoned with.
Anyone who attended the Juve game at The Cottage would not make remarks about Roy being purely defensive.

Carragher is still a .........

Bassey the warrior

I make a point to never listen to the post match banter. One thing I will say of him is that he's got a ridiculous voice. Always sounds like he's inhaled helium.

Me-ate-Live, innit??

 I hear you Ferny  !!!.
This is the same Carragher who refused to play for his country and is now  being paid to talk jack ......  about his national team,  it should not be allowed, shame on ITV

This article says much about the bloke.....

The 33-year-old stalwart of Kenny Dalglish's defence says he recognises his illustrious Liverpool career is entering its twilight. But he has already taken the first steps towards management and hopes Dalglish will call upon him for the foreseeable future.
"The time will come (to stop playing) in the next 12, 18 months, maybe two years," said Carragher. "That won't be down to myself. It will be down to the people around me, the staff the manager. They will decide.
"You want to try to get as much out of your career and play as long as possible. Beyond that I want to stay in football.
"I've taken my first steps to coaching and the UEFA 'B' licence. Once I finish playing I will have some decisions to make, whether that's inside the club or outside of it, in the game or not.
"I love the game and want to stay involved in the game but there are a lot of people out there who want to do the same."

Carragher: England manager should be English 06 Oct 2011
Carragher says his decision to come out of international retirement for last year's World Cup in South Africa was the 'first time I have put my own interests before the club'.
"We had just had a disastrous season at Liverpool finishing seventh and I thought my career was on a nosedive," said Carragher.
"It gave me a chance to play at one of the highest levels of the game so, probably for the first time in my career I thought I would make a selfish decision.
"When I retired from internationals it was a decision I made for the club and myself so I didn't feel I let the country down. Also, at that time I couldn't get a game for England."
A guest at yesterday's Leaders in Football conference, Carragher also responded to Paul Scholes' claims in his autobiography that the England set-up was divided by a Manchester United and Liverpool clique.
"I don't want to start an argument here with Paul Scholes, but I don't think it was Man United and Liverpool," he said.
"It was more Man United and the rest. They'd all grown up together and they had been in youth teams together. They would always sit together at meal times.
"It was just like the five best mates together. A lot of it was at the dinner table.
"There was no hostility there. It was more like there were that many of them. They had such a good team. They probably had 7 or 8 in the squad at the same time.
"It was probably difficult for anyone to break into that little group and get to know them."
