I have just returned from Motspur Park after seeing one of my Grandsons(Jack) being coached by The Fulham Foundation coaches. Who knows, it might lead to other things for him

Jack is just 8 (23rd June) he plays in the Sutton Little League. However, Fulham do the training at his school and he was approached through this. I thought he did quite well today. Oh yes, there was on the pitches RVP, Messi (at least three times) dare I say, Surez and a couple of Fabregases and yes, one Rooney there this evening

That's great stuff Peabody, I use to go into schools myself for Fulham foundation to do some coaching but the money was terrible so couldn't afford to do it although it was very enjoyable, and you get mums coming onto you in the hope you'd get them into Fulham, of course I was very professional about it ;-)

Fulham have one of the best academies about and jack is still very young and it should be about enjoying his football

You don't have to take my advice but I'd get him into a Local Sunday morning team which with respect to any little league will be of a better standard with hopefully better training

I work on the committee of the Surrey Youth League which is one of the best youths leagues in the whole of the South East

His brother Sam has just progressed from Little League into a Sunday League side (Waddon Wanderers and is about to start his first season. Jack willsoon be following him.
