interesting how so far everyone's gone for Hangeland but the same amount haven't gone for Hughes.

I've always rated Hangeland a lot more and tbh CB isn't a position we've thrived in but despite constantly going unnoticed and then being lauded for being a great balancer for Hangeland people aren't as sure as they are with Hangeland about Hughes' defensive abilities.

Obviously hughes is better than any on the board by a country mile but still...

Of course Brede,
and gave Carlos some love... starsnstripes

I've always thought Bocanegra did a great job as CB. Hangeland & Boca

I picked Hangeland and Goma, both solid at the back and I'd say both did a good job at organising the defence.

Went this way too.

interesting that hughes gets more votes yet often senderos often is the pick under Jol. May be he needs more time or does he not have the loyal and tough character.

Best since we've been in the Premier League ... not the past two seasons.

My way of thinking: Best period in Fulham's history was built upon Hughes and Hangeland's partnership.

Until Big Brede came along, I thought the best CB pairing I'd seen since 2004 was the 8 or 9 matches Bocanegra played with Christenval. For that reason, my choices were Hangeland and Christenval.

Quite an easy choice this one for me, H & H are a quality combination and let's hope that Jol keeps them together again this season.
