Too Costly For Us!

Transfer gossip infers that Fulham have enquired about two Wolverhampton Wanderers players.

With it being inferred that Martin Jol is looking to bring in two forwards after losing Zamora, Johnson and Pogrebnyak, enquires for Matt Jarvis and Steven Fletcher have both prove dot be unsuccessful with Wolves wanting a cool £8 million for each of them!

Replacing Dempsey

With the tabloid press informing us that Clint Dempsey is wanted by Liverpool, I suppose we should offer up a glimmer of thanks that they`ve had the courtesy to infer who Martin Jol is looking to replace Clint with.

Three names are thrown into the hat.

The first being Scott Sinclair of Swansea, highly unlikely we`d say.

The second being Luciano Narsingh of Heenrenveen, a possibility we feel.

Whilst the third is Albert Adomah, of Bristol City, although they do mention that his club have refused Fulham permission to speak to him.

Of the three named, who do you feel is the most likely to arrive at Craven Cottage?

Dempsey an Anfield Target

Entering the last year of his contract, we were always aware that Clint Dempsey could leave.

Many suspected that he might be heading off to Arsenal but now it appears that the new Liverpool boss, Brenda Rodgers, has his eye on the American international.

It`s suggested that Liverpool are preparing a £6million bid to take Dempsey to Anfield.

All I`ll say is if Liverpool can get Dempsey for £6 million, then the term daylight robbery comes to mind.

Aberdeen's Fraser Fyvie expected to join Fulham as Martin Jol renews interest in talented teenager

ABERDEEN are poised to cash in on talented teenager Fraser Fyvie with Fulham ready to renew their interest in the midfield ace.

The 19-year-old was a £500,000 target for the London club last summer but boss Martin Jol dropped his interest after the youngster picked up an injury.

Jol kept tabs on the kid after he returned to action though and received glowing reports.

Fyvie is out of contract in December and Aberdeen boss Craig Brown said: "Fraser is here at the moment but I expect him to be gone as things accelerate and the season approaches.

"Obviously, if he goes before December there would be more of a financial gain for the club."

Fulham, Norwich and West Brom target says no to England move

Danish striker, and target for English trio Fulham, Norwich City and West Bromwich Albion, Nick Helenius, has stated that he would prefer a move to either Holland or Germany as opposed to plying his trade England.

It was reported around a week ago that Jol, amongst others, was tracking the AAB forward who has impressed in his native country despite being merely 21 years old.

There isn't just Premier League interest, however, and it now seems that a potential move to Fulham would be nothing but a backup choice. He does admit, however, that he is at least honoured to be linked:

"Naturally I'm happy to wanted by various clubs in Europe as that is what every young player dreams about," Helenius told Bold.

"But I'm fairly calm about the whole situation. I'm just concentrating on my football so I can become even better."

"A move to England would be an attractive proposal, but I'm not on the fence here or looking to move at any cost. A move to England will only happen if I feel that it is the best option for me.

"If it was up to me I would prefer the German or Dutch league as their culture is closer to the Danish culture and I really feel that my playing style would fit well in those two leagues. The Premier League is also attractive, but only if a club shows a genuine interest in helping me develop as a footballer."
