It is so hot and humid in Boston. (abuut 35 ok temp). Really uncomfortable to spend even 5 minutes outside. So, no matter whether it is British rain or very hot sun, makes no difference when you are looking at it through a window. I try to ride my bike but have to wait til nearly dark!!
