the tragedy in Norway occurred. If I could find a Norwegian flag and a candle that did NOT have smiling bearers, I'd post them.

Peace and tolerance towards the young people of Norway, Europe, and the world.

This day will allways be burned in my head, had just moved to a new place here ( in Norway) had no TV or Internet, then my brother in law came by and asked if I had heard about the bomb and shooting, honestly I couldnt even think, I was in shock, and it was so scary to think about all the young talented people at Utøya being there alone and helpless.

Everyone on Utøya are heroes in my eyes, dying for what they believed in, and the survivors being so strong afterwards, helping each other, supporting each other, politics and disagreement didnt count anymore, we all just wanted to help. In any way we could.

Was watching the memorial concert on TV, Bruce Springsteen had a song as well with Little Steven, great song.

R.I.P all from Utøya, you all are Heroes!

I have a lot of time for the Norwegian government, society, royal family and politicians who - remarkably - cept a calm head (without the usual hassle) and refused to make any major changes following that incident instead of going insane and changing this wonderful, open and tolerant society.

I read a very touching and remarkable interview with Jens Stoltenberg in the german political newsmag SPIEGEL some six months ago - a truly great man and an extraordinary politician.
