The silence is annoying but IMHO it shows that we're holding out for an appropriate bid.

My take on the situation is that he's made it clear that he's got no intention of signing a new contract. So it would be pointless to include him in matchday squads.


It's a real shame that it ends like this after five fabulous years.

He's been told to train alone until his situation is worked out. 

I don't get it.  We should be playing him once the real games start.  If he gets hurt, less of a chance other teams want him and better chance he decides to stay.  Maybe he scores a couple goals and teams finally start to jump.  Sending him into exile does nothing or him or the team.

Demps has been a wonderful servant to Fulham and will be enormously missed by all of us after having his best ever season.

It is a real shame it is ending in this manner but have no doubt Demps is on strike. To think otherwise smacks of naivety.
