Its been confirmed he's been dropped for the last test against S. Africa.

An immensely talented player but an ego equal to or bigger than his talent. He's thrown his toys out of the pram too many times and to disrespect the Captain of England to the S. Africans was definitely a step too far.

I know he offered an olive branch yesterday in an interview he made on YouTube (that was big of him!) but I wonder whether his England career has run its course now.

I think it probably has,to be sending texts about your captain and team coach to the opposition is something I feel will not be forgotten by ECB.Didn't he want Peter Moores sacked when he bacame captain?He's a very good player but not a great one.
