With the Dembele money, realistically, how would you spent the money if you were Jol?

I would get Gomis (6.5) Defoe (6) Huddlestone (Loan with the opition of a transfer) Richardson (2)


This would mean that if Dempsey goes as well (The money probably going on the new stand) that:

Petric will replace Dempsey
Defoe replaces AJ
Gomis replaces Pog
Huddlestone replaces Dembele
Richardson replaces Murphy (In a back up sort of way)
Baird replaces Etutu (Etutu was a back up, and now Riether playing RB, I think Baird will play more as a CM)
Rodellega is a novelity in my opinion (Maybe Sa?)

Yeah might have to chance it soon... Maybe we could sell Spurs the younger one?..

I don't know, Defoe will always score goals, we need someone like that.

Huddlestone already nearly went to Stoke so he is open to a move I guess, I think it is at least worth Enquiry.

no i think we have spent the last 2 months tieing up deals and they just wont announce it till 10 55 on friday. if we have this running start why leave it so late to fill a very thin squad? unless we were skint which means if they are to get 4 to 5 players with the dembele money then they wont be of much quality. like i said not much time would rather have 3 better signings then try and push through 5 squad fillers

We could easily pick up two decent players for the money received for Dembele. Unfortunately we've had to wait until 29th August for a domino to fall to us and it was clear that Spurs weren't going to bid for Moussa until Modric's move to Madrid was finalised. Madrid had been playing hardball and bided their time until Spurs were desperate and now it's our turn to enter the transfer market. This isn't Fulham's wrongdoings, it's just now the transfer market works.

Gut feeling that we'll sign three players on permanent and a fourth on loan.
