Weeeell after his (Berbatov) agent confirmed yesterday that "Berbatov is officialy a Fulham player" I welcomed him to the club. I've been feeling a bit embarassed for the last 8 hours through this uncertainty.

I'd rather not sign a twenty nine year old for 9 million. I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking that.

I was thinking something similar but am more worried now that we signed Richardson... if we get this brazilian international who also plays left side... then what happens to Kacaniklic and Frei?

Apparently a helicopter just landed at Motspur Park! Also, he may be 29 but he's a standout player at Lyon, a Brazilian and if you saw him play or even a youtube clip you'd start to drool... Also, it's 9 million Euros which brings down the fee by a couple of million already, you're looking more at 7 mill.

Exactly, he would be a great replacement for Dempsey, same sort of money as well.

Bastos? This is laughable. It couldn't possible happen could it? I'm still waiting on Berbatov - hopefully this is confirmed soon.

14.52 - BBC reporter Conor McNamara has the latest: "Dimitar Berbatov? We are still waiting for confirmation about Fulham. And Clint Dempsey has gone very, very quiet. We're awaiting some movement on that too
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

If the transfer window 'slams shut', to coin a Richard Keys phrase, and Dempsey is still here, we should send him out on loan to Portsmouth and see how attractive a player he is come january.
"We won't look back on this season with regret, but with pride. Because we won what many teams fail to win in a lifetime – an unprecedented degree of respect and support that saw British football fans unite and cheer on Fulham with heart." Mohammed Al Fayed, May 2010

Enter the Frei

it makes a lot of sense, what we need he doesn't have to move and a chance to get his career back on track.

All to perfect isn't it

kiwiwaka

Diarra/Essien back at Lyon were probably the best midfield partnership in the world. Would LOVE that to happen. It won't though :p

In the Enclosure

Yes-but seem to recall him being very strong with forward runs before he got injured

hopper

would be absolutely perfect. lets hope the club sees it that way as well, good point kiwiwaka. make it happen!
