What's happened to Simon Davies?...

Does anyone know where he is? He'd be an ideal player to have around about now.

I think he's fit - he played in the U21's as an overaged player last week and will prbably play today for them. It just seems Jol doesnt really want to use him although you would've thought given our current situation in midfield at the moment that he would be involved a lot for the foreseeable future

the nutflush

I would have him in place of Sidwell all day every day.

Matt Inglis

I find it strange that he wasn't sold.
Jol clearly doesn't want to use him, maybe Davies doesn't fancy another move.
There's only one Emma's burger stand.

Another thing that would seem logical is that Simon Davies, as far as I'm aware, has never been a central midfielder. Therefore as he has plenty of options for the wide roles that could be another reason he doesn't see Davies as a useful option.

Mr Fulham

He's played there last year Swansea away and he was pretty lively actually.

I really think he's worth a try in central midfield. Possibly the only player capable of that. Defensive ability and a great footballer. He also gives his all every single match. He should be at the very least on the substitutes bench.

He knows the club inside out and I'm convinced he could do a job as our CM go-to guy.

and more to the point, none of us know the reason, he may just not be fit enough, he may have a niggling injury that won't go away.

Sadly she wasn't

Im sure Sarah Brooke's answered a query on twitter yesterday that he is fit.
Must admit on not keen on him playing CM and think we are ok with wide positions. I still believe if he was up for it that RB could have been his posituon.

If thats the case then i take that back, perhaps he needs a few reserve games to get a bit match fit.

He is fit and Jol used him in CM before.

mcgregor

Love to see him in the team worth a try in cm - why not given a run at s we? Is he really fit?

Grant

Yes, add me to this list. I want to see Simon Davies back in our team.
He was our player of the season not so long ago and Martin Jol has hardly given him a look in.

Get Simon Davies back in our team.

Im just going to say that, is this not a situation of 'When a player is out of the team they become a better player and the answer to all that is wrong'
