Heard commentators saying this both ways.

1. Rod-a-lay-ger
2. Rod-a-yay-ger

Anyone know which is correct?

PS thought he looked good when linking with Berbatov yesterday.

The double LL in Spanish is like a Y in English, I've been told.

Riverside

Yes . No 2 . Y . ( source Colombian wife from Cali )

There's only one Emma's burger stand.

only Brits think that a word that ends in "a" should be pronounced as if it ended in "er." I once devised an exercize for English actors that wanted to do American accents: "I saw Marta at a cabana near Malaga and then in Alhambra, Alabama."

The name is pronounced Road-a-yay-ga [the r is on the front, NOT the back. No charge.

They're both wrong. It's Ro dah Yay gah.

I think it's something like Roda-yega.

In Argentina or Uruguay would be Roda-shega (she as in shepherd) as we pronounce the LL as shhhh
