To me, the most pleasing thing about Saturday's performance was the work ethic shown by the team. Even before the sending off, we at them and bar a five minute spell, we controlled the game. I also though that Chris Baird and Steve Sidwell woked really hard and it now gives Martin Jol a nice problem as to who plays.

I agree.  We had 2 weeks to dwell on the West ham Defeat and then the injury list seemed as long as your arm! With the added  WBA have had a great start hype..  i wasn't expecting anything from the game.

My word i was proved wrong.  I couldnt fault any of our players.... special mention to Berby Baby, Duffers, Sidwell  and Kasami when he came on...  he looked the part for once!!

Completely agree. It was as if they wanted to get the West Ham game out of their system. I've always rated Baird but was still surprised by his performance. Also impressed by Berbatov's work ethic.
