I've been told by a Spuds fan at work to do the park and ride.

Anyone recommend a pub near the station suitable for me and a 6 year old?

A Wetherspoons?

Yates is about 800 yds from the station, heading towards the Stadium. It's about a third of the way to the ground, if you're walking from the station. See this map, and see you there maybe!

+1 and on the way to the ground there are smaller pubs on the way nearer to the bridge crossing to the stadium

Alas, too much ale on Saturday meant it was Pret a Manger, not Wetherspoons for me and the sprog, but I tried to get in Yates's on the way back to the station to take her to toilet but the goon on the gate said 'no kids allowed.'
