elgreenio

Since we expect to take around 2000 I thought it may be good to have a plan/meeting place in mind to get a good atmosphere.

Does anyone know the area or a good away pub? My train from Brighton arrives at 11am and would like to make a day of it!

We go to Yates, went there twice with Yeovil and going there with Fulham, is a very friendly pub, we then usually go to some smaller ones across the bridge from the ground which I have forgot the names of, they're not as good though, would be nice to meet some fellow FOF posters, message me if you're heading to Yates or want to have a chat

Sounds like the King Alfred on Northam Rd. Only a short walk from the ground too according to Google maps, if we get enough there it should be a great walk to the away end!

MM  found this on another  site giving advice

A few years back we went in the King Alfred ,very close to the ground and a good mix of home and away fans .Been told by a mate who lives down there that its probably best to avoid now

elgreenio

Saints STH friend has said Yates' or The Admiral Sir Lucius Curtis' in Ocean Village...

guess its a change to Yates' after the above post then

Scrumpy

Me + 2 others going to this one. I went to Saints last year with my nephew, and the King Alfred was 95% home fans.

Let's say Yates shall we? Should be plenty of room, cheap beer, maybe  hang a flag or two?  082.gif

Where's Barney T and Earl Beatty with their Motspur flag when you need them?
English by birth, Fulham by the grace of God.

Just get drunk on the car ride down.
A couple of my crowd have that covered already!

Edwatch_Winston_Malone

Where is the best place to park for the ground?

Shredhead

I've been told by a Spuds fan at work to do the park and ride.

Anyone recommend a pub near the station suitable for me and a 6 year old?

A Wetherspoons?
