He does seem to attack the ball at corners playing for Norway, watching him over the last 12 months he seems very static at corners for us, looks like he wants to wait for the perfect ball to land on his head. This could be the managers tactics to draw defenders away knowing he will be marked so others can expolit the space or he just does not want to wrestle with defenders any more to get into position, though the same could be said about his defending for the Southampton equaliser, whats going on?

I think you're correct about this. Although he has headed a couple of chances wide, this season and last it seems that Hughes and Senderos get to more corners than he does.
