A bit early, but here's a Villa match thread

Since I won't be around much after today -- vacation to Northern CA until the middle of next week -- this is my last day to talk about the match.

A healthy Berbatov and Petric should do us a world of good. I'd start Richardson instead of Special K, Duff, Baird, and [holding my nose] Sidwell in the middle. Riise, Hangeland [please, someone, leave him a wake-up call], Hughes, and Riether. Stockdale between the sticks for me.

If we can't dominate Villa at the Cottage, then we should be worried the entire season. I think we  win it 3-1 in a tjl special.

No View From South Texas on this match since I won't get a chance to watch it until next Wednesday sometime.

Kaca with his first goal for his country and then being a part of THAT comeback.... his confidence will be sky-high. I'd start him.

That said, I missed the Southampton game so haven't seen much of Richardson (bar the goal on MOTD).
