Lets all remember that Dave is a striker, wide left or right or through the middle.
At wigan he played wide in a front three, rarely has he played as a wide midfielder. In a midfield four or five as he has been asked to do since he joined.
Don't think Jol sees him wide long term, just filling in, so maybe cut some slack.
