Fulham's newest signing Mickael Tavares says it is a dream to finally play in the Premier League.

The 29-year-old was signed on a free after the West London club lost central midfielders Mousa Dembele, Danny Murphy and Dickson Etuhu in the summer.

Martin Jol knew the holding midfielder from their time together at Hamburg and he was quick to snap up the former Middlesbrough man on a short-term deal.

"It's a dream for everybody to play in the Premier League," said Tavares. "I was at Middlesbrough in the Championship but the Premier League is something else so I'm very happy to be here."

Positive and ambitious.

But I cannot see him getting too many chances unless there are injuries.

However if he forces his way in by training and playing well - good luck to him and would mean than he offers something more than cover.

He has though until mid / end Jan to get his chance as surely we will bring in 1or2 quality CMs in the window.
