near Putney Bridge or Hammersmith for SkySports and grub? Want to watch the Manchester United Arsenal game at 12 5 with some lunch, can anyone recommend a decent place?

Whistle and Flute on Putney High Street. Both Sky Sports and grub. Whether or not you can call it good is another matter, but it's passable.

Alternatively the Normanby on Putney Bridge Road has Sky Sports and does wonderful food, but it's a bit of a trek in the wrong direction.
