I went past Westminster Abbey today and saw something I have never heard about but was so simple yet so moving

Apparently since 1928 they have been making a field of crosses in the grounds of the abbey. Simply a regiment gets roughly a plot 8 x 4 and small crosses bearing a poppy have been planted in the Field of Remembrance to pay tribute to British servicemen and women who have lost their lives in conflict.

Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

The Queen  Mother always supported this every year for decades until her death, not sure if a Royal Family member still attends  since her death      http://www.britishpathe.com/video/queen-mother-visits-westminster-field-of-remembran/query/poppies//

"What in the hell is diversity?"
"Well, I could be wrong, but I believe diversity is an old, old wooden ship that was used during the Civil War era."
