Swart continues to make great saves and continues to put us into trouble by poor distribution. However Ruiz did the same thing. He was brilliant for the game until his wild pass that led to the penalty. But I agree that Ruiz was clearly the man of the match for me. Stats are funny things.

Didn't a Schwarzer clearance to absolutely no one lead directly to Arsenal's third?  Ruiz was absolutely phenomenal and put himself about more than I've seen previously.  Let him have his moment!!

I noticed at one kick that went to open space on the left wing when Berbatov was waiting down the middle - Berb's had a fit ! not at all happy - I assume they will do some work on that!

So, in a few short seasons, we've gone from being thrilled when we get one player in Crooks XI to complaining that we've only got two. I guess that's progress.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to who Crooks puts in his team of the week. He usually just goes for goal scorers which is why Ruiz isn't in it. Schwarzer is probably in it for his penalty save. It's foolish to make one man do a team of the week when its highly unlikely he watched all the games so he's mainly going on highlights which doesn't tell the whole story. On top of that, Crooks is just a terrible pundit.
