No such thing as squad depth!!!

A month ago people were yelling around how we have cover in each position in case some of the main squad players get injured, well think again. It is obvious to everybody that there is depth only on paper, with no Kaca,Ruiz,Diarra there will be no top 6,top 8 or top 10. Dejaga needs time to settle, his first half performance was out of sync, lost the ball so many times, while playing 1 on 1 instead of passing. Sidwell,Baird,Rodders more of a consumers than creative players. The fact that Berbatov had to go in our half and receive the ball from the last defender says it all. Karagounis did well though, didn't expect it that he still has it, until I saw him running around like and tackling like 20 years old. Can't hide my frustration from losing to Stock / mustache city who were so miserable and poor! Hope we do better in January and bring some of the youth to the first team.

No moaning,just the truth IMO.

We do have greater squad depth but some players are more critical to our success than others (Hangeland, Diarra and Ruiz) and you would hope to only have to replace one or two at a time, not three or four.

We were doing fine with eleven men against Sunderland and might have got something against Stoke if we had Hangeland and Diarra for example.

We have decent squad depth but any team would be weaker when they lose so many 1st teamers, when Ruiz , Richardson , Diarra , Frei , Kaca are all back fit we will start picking up points again
