In a few minutes, I'm off to the world famous San Antonio Riverwalk for a "dirty weekend" with the Memsahib. We have a hotel right on the walk for both Friday and Saturday nights, and have several events planned. There is an extremely good chance of alcohol being involved. xmascheer1  We're back in church Sunday morning, and I'll probably get around to watching the match Sunday evening or Monday.

This may be one weekend where missing a Fulham match won't make me "miss" a Fulham match.  064.gif We're going to win, 1-2.

As it is a river walk does "dirty weekend" imply there is a lot of mud....... :005:

Some nice restaurants on the Riverwalk, HD.  There's a decent pub with good TV set ups to watch games at the Lion and the Rose (or is it the Rose and the Lion?) in two locations: Stone Oak north of 1604 (the outer freeway ring) and Alamo Heights (very close to downtown).  The owner is blind.  Great guy.

Looks like he's opened up a bunch more.  Go to the one on Broadway in Alamo Heights.

Correct score, i doubt you'll need a view this weekend though.

You're giving rubbish a bad name. Lucky HD, spared the pain of commenting on one of the worst 90 minutes of Fulham football in a long, long time.

Used to go there quite often with Ag. Now, money considerations keeps us down. Watched the Europa League Final there, but my most memorable time was the 3-1 victory over Liverpool. Ag and I just were like "ho hum, another goal" while the Liverpool group -- half a dozen? -- sat in sullen silence.

I was on the fence about this, but after reading this comment, I think I'm off to delete the match from my DVR unwatched.

Don, good choice.  It's 90 minutes you'll never get back...   fp.gif

What was all that standing about my back still hurts. Should have sat down and missed the game it would have been better value for the ticket price.  Had a microwaved sausage roll it was horrible.  When are football grounds and Wetherspoons  going to realise that you cannot microwave pastry at it goes all soggy.

When? When punters stop buying them?  :022:
