That performance merits nothing but shame upon the players, and Jol. It was the ONE away game I actually cared for us to truly play well in and win. We did not even get an exciting game, or well played one. Overall trash.
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

Artful Dodger

I wasnt at the game but getting text updates from the old man so knew it wasn't good. When I spoke to him after his comment was that for the first time he was wondering why he bothered! That sums it up. The players and staff must have known what this game meant to the fans so to put in a performance that sounds like it didn't even get started is poor. Jol needs to look at how we play away from home. Utter crap.

I will be quite honest, Artful.... this was a knee jerk reaction post- however, I stand by my words. This game was horseshit, it was a pain to watch, and I myself wondered by I bothered to wake up for it. At the end of the day, though, I am a Fulham supporter through and through. I will love Fulham FC until the day I die, but this love is also the reason why I cannot stand to see such a mockery of the crest from the players today. They did absolutely nothing of worth, only Petric who had the audacity to actually shoot scored a peachy one. Jol is a quality manager, but the players are the problem not him. He needs to actually conjure up some magic in the transfer window, and get Diarra and Ruiz back to full fitness. These secondary players do not play to Jol's liking. There is a mixture of 'free-flowing' players like Ruiz, Diarra, JR, Berba, and Reiter...and static build-up players like Baird, Hangeland, and at times, Rod and Sidwell. We need everyone on the same page or we will be fighting against the likes of Wigan at the bottom. Not because we are not quality, but because Jol is saying  one thing, and some players listen to it and other don't.
