My father managed to miss all 4 of his kids births. I followed in his footsteps and missed my only daughter's whilst on business. Not too proud of it, but didn't have too much choice as I was the single meal provider. I wasn't paid as much as Brede is, but sometimes you take a bullet for the team and worry about the domestics later. You would get yelled a lot worse from the better half if we lost the business or the project went belly up

Was outside the room for the first but then almost fainted. This after saying to my mum i regonise them grunts/moans and walking in on some other bird with her legs wide open (true, cross my heart) . I dont think the real father was to pleased either  :022: . For my second i just told her mum to bell me when it was all done and dusted. I mean if it's an 8 hour labour, you can only feign interest for so long  :dft012: .
