I see Arsenal have called their game off and for Footballing reasons I think we should too.  You can only assume that for the re-arranged fixture Ruiz will be back and we may have recruited in Jan, not only that but can our ageing squad manage 2 games in 4 days?  I love footie on Boxing day but I for one would like to see it off.
We all see the game differently, FoF has taught me that.

West Ham have called the game off - given they are at home, more of their fans will be affected.

What's to say that Ruiz will be fit by January and also Arsenal will be playing 3 games in 7 days.

If we are not up to facing Southampton then we should throw in the towel now. I don't wish to cause offense Jambo but our fan base is lacking some backbone and confidence right now.

Game has been confirmed on which is great news wouldn't be the same Christmas for me without going to Fulham on boxing day

Never been to the cottage on boxing day, looking forward to it. Last year i went for the Chelsea Fulham game at the Bridge, that was quite brilliant.
He gets the ball, he scores a goal, he loves to play for Martin Jol - Dimitar Berbatov - Fulham's Number Nine!

Arsenal has been cancelled because they have 60,000 fans trying to get there without tube or train.  I think our 25,ooo is deemed doable.

Missing this one...family first...20+ of us all around my mum's, gawd bless her, for our traditional Boxing Day chaos-fest. It's actually a blast, and not as hideous as it may seem at first sight having so many family under the one roof :)

But Arsenal don't have 60000 fans in their ground. Despite their official figures they have been getting about 35/45000 in there. Still more than us but many believe it is Wenger driving this to give his players physical advantage over the gruelling period.
Arsenal are always quickest to call their games off when snow and ice is on the approach to the stadium over the festive period too.

Got this from Fulham today...
Dear supporter,

Fulham FC's Boxing Day fixture against Southampton at Craven Cottage will go ahead as scheduled.

With industrial action disrupting public transport networks in the capital on Boxing Day (Wed 26th Dec), supporters are advised to plan travel in advance for Fulham's fixture with Southampton that afternoon (3pm).

Fans should schedule a journey that allows for probable tube closures and very limited services by rail. The Club would recommend that supporters continue to closely monitor Transport for London updates for further information that might affect their plans.

Putney rail station will be closed and there are widespread line closures across the network in the capital. Updates can be found on http://www.nationalrail.co.uk.

All local bus routes will be operating to a Sunday service timetable. Information on bus routes that serve Craven Cottage can be found on the Transport for London website at http://www.tfl.gov.uk.

Important information for fans travelling by car can be found on the Hammersmith & Fulham Council website at http://www.lbhf.gov.uk. Please note that matchday car parking restrictions apply in zones X&Y.

Turnstiles open at 1.30pm and fans are advised to allow plenty of time for their journey in order to arrive early.

Thank you for your support,

Fulham Football Club
