This is in the past now but why did the players wear black arm bands against Southampton?

We had a minutes applause before the game to remember fans, players and all those associated with the club who had died in the past year. I think the arm bands were specifically for Ian Black, though.

Thanks for that. I did not hear of Ian's sad passing. He was the regular 'keepr when I first started going in '53. Up until Tony Macedo first came onto the scene. RIP Ian.
