Purely because i sense a few are becoming impatient with him.. Just wanted to see the general consensus on him as a manager...

I'm still fully behind him - he's the best man available
He gets the ball, he scores a goal, he loves to play for Martin Jol - Dimitar Berbatov - Fulham's Number Nine!

We all see the game differently, FoF has taught me that.

Yes, I still think he is a good Manager who is trying to get us to play good attacking football.

The only question from me is whether this is possible without a vast transfer fund.
English by birth, Fulham by the grace of God.

He will come good in the end. Patience is a virtue......

Think he has been let down by the club but has made too many mistakes. Great coach we are told but I have seldom watched a Fulham side not turn up to so many matches. Not have shots and simply look too defensive.

So he hasn't proved himself to be a great coach with a poor squad at Fulham. We seem to struggle even with the likes Ruiz and Berbatov in the side.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

I honestly think he's bitten off more than he can chew with Fulham. At one point, he kind of admitted it himself in one of his interviews. We are slightly different to the clubs he has previously managed. We're certainly no Spurs, Ajax or Hamburg and without the financial backing and players he's finding it hard. That's my opinion anyway. Great coach, sexy football but it ain't working down at the Cottage.

Considering he lead us to a very respectable 9th, and just a few points off our best every points tally, as well as changing Mousa Dembeles entire career, bringing some god beautiful football to Fulham and helping to revolutionize our youth set-up, I'd say he's done pretty damn well.

Let down heavily that his best players were robbed without adequate time to replace them. Done ok considering the injuries/ lack of players he's had to contend with this season.

On behalf on whether the board is letting him down... I think we won't find that out in January, but we will in the summer.

I highly doubt he has anything to do with the change in our youth set up.

Define vast.

Great coach - feel sorry for him as he has almost certainly been let down by Fayed on funds available for transfers. He will be a fool to stay as manager of a club who are so unwilling to invest. Now we have sold Kelly (only an average player I know) but where is cover at right back? What has happened to Dembele/Dempsey money?

No doubt he's a good manager & coach & no one was complaining with his methods or tactics with the second half of last season into the start of this season. He's tried to play the team with a more European type of play with pushing players forward so we try to dominate which showed for the first half at West Brom. There are a few issues to deal with at the moment, firstly we're playing football that is pretty much easy to deal with so teams know what is coming & there is no plan B but having lost influential players & not been given funds to replace them Jol has had to go the Bosman way & try & get some quality in. I feel sorry for him & in time he'll have had enough & walk but at this moment in time he has to go back to old school Roy football & stop conceding.

I think he does. Many have praised him for regulary going to watch the youth teams, and his proven ability to play younger players in the first team has attracted a number of players to the club, all citing their joining because they will get games quicker than anywhere else (One Noe Baba said this, as did Chris David)

Good manager and coach, but with the wage structure we have/being a club that has to sell our top players to survive the best league in the world I think he can only do what he can at present.

I think we'll finish top ten.
