wasnt that great in center mid and berba is no way near as good as ruiz is behind a striker

Agreed. Berba up top with Ruiz playing off him. Berba needs to play further forward.

was thinking ruiz behind petric myself. berba wont stay up top, as we have seen it time and time again.

Berba played further forward for Man Utd. My feeling is that he drops so deep out of frustration for the lack of service.
