Problems and Solutions Thread

Everyone has a list of the current problems at the club, so lets put together a list of problems that we think are there, and importantly a solution to it.

Problem 1) Goalkeeper situation. Schwarzers distribution is terrible, and has made mistakes this season. Is Stockdale good enough to replace him?
Solution 1) Start Stockdale from now on to determine if he's going to be the number 1 next season. Then make a decision on if to buy Stekelenburg or Butland based upon that.

Problem 2) The team doesnt seem to know what tactics we are attempting to employ while attacking. We play with wingers who can't cross, and forwards who dont get into the box.
Solution 2) Figure out what system you want to work in and make sure the players can function in it. If you want to play with wingers, then they must be able to beat a man and cross the ball. Equally there must be players in the box. Playing with wingers who cant cross is pointless, we may as well play a 5-3-2 and shore up the defence.

Problem 3) Defending has become a shambles. Who is the 1st choice RB. Why are Hangeland and Hughes playing so badly. Is Reither definitely signing at the end of the season. Why cant we defend set plays.
Solution 3) Get Hangeland to sign a new contract or sell him. Sort out Riethers contract now and decide who is playing LB. Look to sign Douglas or another CB

Problem 4) Set plays both offensive and defensive are awful.
Solution 4) More practice on the training ground. Get players to practice taking them at CC or sort up the steep slopes around the pitch.

Problem 5) We have no midfield
Solution 5 Buy some midfielders!! They've had 5 months to identify players and nothing has been done. Sign Loe Ledley, Tom Huddlestone or Moussa Sissoko and soon!

Problem 6) Strikers not scoring or creating chances
Solution 6) Tell Berbatov to stop dropping so deep and to stay in the box. If he wont then sign a proper out and out goalscorer (Bent, Yilmaz, Charlie Austin)

Get a better medical team or better team preparation we are getting far to many injuries.  These trainers players wear instead of football boots are a lot of the problem.  In football you get kicked on or kick with the foot so it needs to be properly protected.

Agree. I'm a bit confused as to why almost everyone in our team has been injured at some point.

Problem: We have no midfield. Sidwell is our only proper CM who is not constantly injured.

Soultion: Buy new midfielders.
