Hi all, here's today's tip: Do something else instead of snacking

If you've ever found yourself between meals and thought, "I really could do with something to eat right now," you'll know how this kind of thinking can become all consuming.  It eats away at your insides until you satisfy the craving.

Cravings can, however, be controlled.  The desire to snack is usually a short-term thought.  Try distracting yourself when you have such thoughts by playing a game, 'phoning a friend or, at the very least, drinking a glass of water.  You'd be amazed by the results you can accomplish by forcing yourself to think of something different in such cases.
