Beckham says he wont be paid at PSG and his salary will go to a childrens charity in Paris instead.

Yet some people still won't give the guy his dues - he is an absolute class act.

Beckham has always been a class act. I have nothing but respect for the man. He always comes across well and gets a shed load of unfair criticism. Always gave 100% for England

And before people start, yes he does have alot of money already, but he didnt need to donate his entire salary to charity did he? Never been done before.

In fact more should follow his lead.

Earlier, from SSN:

Ajax have confirmed Fulham have been in contact over a possible deal to bring Eyong Enoh to Craven Cottage.

The 26-year-old Cameroon international moved to the Dutch giants from feeder club Ajax Cape Town in 2008.

However, he has struggled for first-team action this season, making just seven appearances, five of those from the bench.

Fulham boss Martin Jol knows all about Enoh's talents following his spell as Ajax boss during the 2009/10 season.

He has now made tentative enquires about a deal to bring the defensive midfielder to the Premier League ahead of the transfer deadline.

When quizzed about a potential deal for Enoh, Ajax technical director Marc Overmars confirmed Fulham had been in contact but stressed a transfer was far from complete.

"Negotiations has to start up first," Overmars told De Telegraaf. "Nothing is sure for now."

He's good at his job, it's a job that pays well and he managed to market himself incredibly well.  It's nothing but jealousy.

Also, remember WC 98?  He was basically a dead man walking after that, his career could quite easily have been ruined, but he worked his ass off and helped win the treble the year after.

Wasn't he really highly rated a year or so ago?  Remember being linked a while back and a pretty hefty fee being thrown around.

Wikipedia says...

Nikola Maksimović (Serbian Cyrillic: Никола Максимовић; born 25 November 1991 in Bajina Bašta) is a Serbian footballer who plays for Serbian SuperLiga club Red Star Belgrade and the Serbian national team. He is regarded in his homeland as a brilliant center defender whose style of play is reminiscent of that of Nemanja Vidić.[1]

From the BBC:

BBC Sport's Ben Smith reports Fulham defender Chris Baird is in talks over a £1m move to West Bromwich Albion.

You can't sell Bairdinho! He's in the goalscoring form of his life...

"Sky Italia are now reporting that Roma goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg has in fact boarded a flight to London thinking that he's on his way for talks with Fulham. He's apparently expected to land at London Heathrow at 1910. Unbeknownst to Stekelenburg, 35,000ft below, Roma have stopped the deal. Pity the man who has to break it to him at arrivals."

According to the horrific translation, he just needs a work permit. Very highly thought of in Serbia, full international at 21, Vidic-esque, looks a good signing. Typical Fulham keeping it hush and then the foreign press getting hold of it just before he's about to sign.
