Our squad is looking good if we keep everyone fit & with the new boys we can definitely finish top 10

The guy who started the Diame rumour has said he was incorrect

At the risk of sounding negative, why are we signing yet another defensive midfielder? That'll leave us with Diarra, Baird, Enoh, Sidwell (although he's more box-to-box) and Frimpong. Then just Karagounis who is attack minded.
You have two athletic types behind Ruiz, with Emanuellson and Dejagah burning the wings and Berba up top and you have solidity with a lot of athleticism to get men forward.

With Urby's versatility it allows you to go from 4-5-1 to 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 quite easily.

The key problem all season has been that Berba and Ruiz have had to drop really deep to receive the ball. Huddlestone would've solved this problem. Karagounis is decent too but not Huddlestone quality.

Now rumours circulation on bbc that we are after callejon from real madrid

JustOverTheRiver

They can be defensive players who are still far better distributors than Baird and Sidwell, who are not just poor, but also very slow.

So, we needed a skilled central mid, possibly a striker and possibly a top GK on offing...

And it appears we will end up with two more defensive mids, a winger and cover at RB?

Wonderful.

I guess the silver lining is these guys should help us avoid relegation and then this summer will be fascinating. The whiff on Stekelenburg (assuming we don't salvage this somehow) could be huge. Getting a keeper of that caliber on the cheap would have been massive.

We still have the major problem that Berbatov and Ruiz have to play the same position on our current club. Berba's not effective with Ruiz behind him, and Ruiz is not effective out wide or deeper in the midfield.

Would welcome him here

JackyFulham90

Emanuelson & Frimpong can make a difference for us
Davies is back fit
Frei & Diarra to come back we have plenty of options
Centre back is where we are short so I am glad Baird is staying

The whole coverage for this window, bar the haha's, has been sat outside clubs who have made it clear they will be doing nothing. Boring.

Must be tough being the Fulham doctor on the last day of the transfer window. You're stuck in your surgery bored stiff until midnight wondering if a Jaguar is going to pull up outside your door with Johnny Foreigner in the back, for a quick going over with stethoscope and reflex hammer. 10 to 1 the bloke can't speak much English and you certainly can't rely on his agent to interpret the Serbian for  'dodgy knees' into the appropriate English term.
Finn and Corked Hat, you are forever part of the family.

I've had enough of the sensationalising of the Hooper bids from Norwich despite Celtic saying a hundred times they won't sell.

Jermaine Jenas in at QPR on 18 month deal.
