I heard that Iniesta and Xavi both asked for Reina. But then Liverpool could be in for Stekelenburg...

Also, why would we want Torisidis if theres a chance of signing Sacha..? Is the link a hint to the fact that Koln want him back?

Boetang looked quite useful for Ghana - a sort of footballing version of Dickson Etuhu.

Defensively the one who took the eye was the right-back. Looked kind of familiar. Now where have I seen him before?

he can play anywhere on the right and in central mid, so hes quite versatile and quite a good little player from what I have heard. In regards to Sacha, Im confident enough that he will sign a full contract .

Hope you're right about Sacha. He's been one of the few bright spots in a pretty dull season so far.

However, us going after another Greek who's primary position is RB (I understand he's more versatile than that), doesn't give me the best of feelings about keeping the German.

Im sure he can play right mid equally as playing rb so maybe we are bringing him in for that? His Wikipedia (not that credible) ha says that he is known for making dynamic runs with a good crossing and shooting ability. Maybe thats what we have lacked a bit in midfield. Just saying!

Lyon are claiming Premier League interest for Michel Bastos. We were linked with him in the summer; could we be back in for him now?

Erik is welcome at Fulham anytime.  He can finish...

Berbatov can finish too, as can Petric, the problem is that nobody is getting the ball to our strikers in dangerous positions.

Give it to the Greek then, he will shoot from anywhere.

Surely the Greek is a replacement for Kelly, who transferred to Reading.

Cologne were relegated last season and very happy to unload Sascha Riether/his wages - I don't think they want him back!

Sylvestre is decent but would've liked someone better

Torosidis can also play LB and CM, so he's basically an upgrade on Chris Baird.Great buy if it happens, especially for that little.
