I think would be a good signing for us a proper number9 is what we need at Fulhamfc.

domprague

I think there would be a long queue for him, including bigger chequebooks than ours. I agree that we need a proper No9.
You came all this way ... and you lost, and you lost.

He's an all round top player. I watched the Southampton game yesterday and he was getting on the end of balls, holding up play, spreading balls with a great passing distance, and made a huge impression. Can never see him signing for Fulham though.
He gets the ball, he scores a goal, he loves to play for Martin Jol - Dimitar Berbatov - Fulham's Number Nine!

A Humble Man

Why would Southampton sell, why would he want to comes.  They are a Club on the way up, we are not.
We Are Fulham, Believe.

He's a very good player but there would be no point for him to come to us. We have less money then Southampton, similar fan base, smaller stadium. It wouldn't be a step up for him right now.

JackyFulham90

Decent signing but we will look for someone similar in the foreign leagues eager for a chance in the Premiership

I'm a fan of Jones but I can't imagine they'll want to sell him with Crouch not yet recovered from injury.

I've just been told that that's "Yesterday's Man" football. Time has passed him by. That's why he's so ineffective.

Yoush dontsh understandsh. We hash to playsh the ball square and thensh back to the goalkeeper. He can then lumpsh it upfield with hish bad dishtribution so the opposition can then attack again. Why wouldsh we want to get the ball acrossh the halfway line

We definetely need a striker who can bag 15 to 20 goals
a season..

We need someone with pace in my opinion. Someone to stretch defences and create the space for Berba and Ruiz to work in.

So Lambert is a no for me.
