Well done Fulham. That's the first!

Technically the third. We signed two youngters: Noe Baba and Chris David.

CurryForMario

Talented player, not completely proven in the league but still a good step forwards.
He gets the ball, he scores a goal, he loves to play for Martin Jol - Dimitar Berbatov - Fulham's Number Nine!

Emmanuel Frimpong joins Fulham on loan

Emmanuel Frimpong has joined Fulham on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 21-year-old midfielder has recently returned from a six-week loan spell with Championship side Charlton Athletic, where he featured six times for the Addicks.

Frimpong, who battled back from a seven-month injury lay-off in September 2012, has also appeared twice for the Arsenal first team this season - in the Capital One Cup victories over Coventry City and Reading.

The Ghanaian-born youngster came through the Arsenal academy, which he joined as an 11-year-old, and played a key role in the Club's 2009 FA Youth Cup victory. He has so far made 16 first-team appearances for the Gunners.

Everyone at the Club wishes Emmanuel the best of luck during his time with Fulham.

Smacks of desperation.

Really? Young talented player with a point to prove and who will provide much needed depth. Seems quite shrewd to me.

This is a very good signing, he will bring fight and aggression to the midfield, which looks very pedestrian without Diarra, especially away from home. If he does well we should try to sign him permanently because I don't think Wenger is convinced that he is good enough for Arsenal.

Yeah I agree. There is little risk involved and potentially a very rewarding move, leaving a good week for further business.

Had this been done at 11.59 on the 31st then I could understand the 'desperation' element but there's plenty of time left.

I have just discovered thay you cannot sign on a free transfer if you are under 24. I never know these things because everyone wee sign is north of 30!

He is a hard tackler, in fact Arsenal fans say a player has been Frimponged after a challenge.   Could make Sidwell look like a pussy.

Cannot see the announcement on the Fulham site.

Very slow to announce things, as always.

The social media presence isn't bad but the site could be better with things like this.

Frimpong Joins On Loan
Friday 25 January 2013 20:51

The Club is delighted to confirm the loan signing of Emmanuel Frimpong from Arsenal until the end of the season.
The central midfielder came through the Academy at Arsenal, and has spent time on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers and Charlton Athletic.

The 21-year-old has been capped at various youth levels for England, however he is also eligible to represent Ghana.

All at Fulham wish Frimpong the best during his time at the Club.

Humbled

Happy with this. He was on my list I uploaded at the start of the season under my previous alias.... Good signing and as stated previously good time to have him.

SaltfordWhite

Good work, Fulham.

I can't believe that nobody has posted his FM stats yet though?
