Is that from the twitter thing, I don't do that.  Joined twitter and within five minutes my Email address had been intercepted and a virus message was sent to my address list.  Can off twitter five minutes later a wiser man.

People a taking terrible risks using social networks.
Never heard of Twitter giving people viruses but fair enough.

I have just discovered thay you cannot sign on a free transfer if you are under 24. I never know these things because everyone wee sign is north of 30!

Compensation then... Not much money :)

Just asked my arsenal friend for his opinion and he said this;

"In a word.... Awful. And I'm not lying. He's like a black version of David Bentley. He the greatest player in the world.....if you ask him."

Lets hope we restart his career

Good work, Fulham.

I can't believe that nobody has posted his FM stats yet though?

should i use this years fm or can i use 2010 where he's a wonderkid and a few years into his development? D:

After looking at a link someone here put up to a Charlton site I thought I'd have a look. Below are some of the general comments they made about him....

"Frimpong is the best ball winning and holding midfielder we've had since Parker" - addickted

"I would add "potentially" to that comment on Frimpong addickted. He needs to get a brain to add to the undoubted skill in his feet" - mstoneaddick

"Frimpong reminds me of Chris Eubank, good at what he does but a sandwich short of a picnic! His talent is unquestioned but his footballing brain is not the fastest" - reamsofverse

So he sounds like a talented player, he just needs to control his aggression from what I've gathered and also learn to play a little more simply. But the boy is only 21 so he can certainly develop into a very handy player, and he will hopefully learn a thing or two off Diarra if he ever gets fit.

Not bad, provides muscle at the midfield which I think it was something we were lacking of.

Wherever there's a Costa Rican... there's peace.

If nothing else there has to be a great chant/song there  :54:

I'm not very happy with this, he may be a good player but all we're going to do is make him look good for 3 months then he goes off back to Arsenal, I know we can find better players in summer and what not but I would prefer it if we got a midfielder in now rather than later.

Deanothefulhamfan

What a signing, my Arsenal mate rate him really highly......Just the player we needed

timmyg

He's out of contract in the summer, and he's barely played since his injury about this time last year, so this is really a low-risk, potentially high reward signing.

That said, I signed him on a free in FIFA 11 and he helped me get Plymouth Argyle to the Premier League. So, there's that working for him.

We need a powerhouse in our midfield and Frimpong fits that criteria.

lovely signing IMO and out of nowhere, on loan and out of contract at the end of the season. I hope with give him game time because he must know he's not going to get it at Arsenal any time soon and if he's out of contract in the summer maybe we can tempt him to stay.

hopefully Arsenal have decided they arent going to offer a new contract when it runs out in the summer and we can get him for a good price (as we will have to pay as he is under 24 wont we?) so it could be a trial for 3 months...

at one point Jol said he missed Etuhu........so maybe this guy gives him some of that

Enter the Frei

to be honest this may be his last chance to make it at Arsenal in an odd way. If his contract is out in the summer and he doesn't perform well enough for us then surely that means the end of his career at Arsenal.

There's a massive incentive for him to do well here IMO and the last time he went out on loan he looked like he could keep Wolves up before his injury.

A new Pongo arrives after all these years.

Hope he's as good as the last one.

although he's had a few knee problems, i like this signing.  as others have stated, he's young and a bit steely.  i hope he helps solidify the mids whilst diarra is out.

I hope the lad doesn't make a bad pass or a mistimed tackle during his loan spell. Imagine what stick Jol will get if he does!
