There were a couple of near misses - I'd prefer decent near misses than token shots on target any day.
The key area of the team that is lacking is midfield - it's where you base your attacks from and where the cover for your defence is.  In spite of having defensively minded midfielders playing all the time, they offer no protection whatsoever as they're often embarrassingly out of position or just walked through.
