Fulham should recognise service above & beyond

In this age of customer profiles through our loyalty scheme FFC really should recognise the dedication of the few hundred fans who made two trips to Manchester in the space of a week & in awful weather.  The chances of success against two football super powers was always small but that didn't deter them.  The least they deserve is a letter acknowledging their effort, anyone on here make both trips?

Im not so sure if this is a wind up?
You want a letter of commendation or something for being spectators going to watch a football match.....out of choice?
Is the world going mad? 092.gif

How about rewarding the few who endured a twelve hour round trip through the snow to Lincoln on Boxing Day 1995 to see the team lose 0-4 to a side which hadn't won at home since the first day of the season or those who, in 1985, travelled to Carlisle only for the game to be postponed? Don't think watching the side at one of the world's great football grounds, against one of the most successful teams in football history is such a hardship.

And driving all the way to Sheffield to hear on the radio as we got there the match was off, we have all done it but I do admire those who can and do follow the club away from home and carry on the tradition

:031:I remember driving all the way to Lincoln in the rain only to arrive and find it postponed......that was bad enough........
.........and if we are going for the worst I reckon midweek to lose at doncaster takes some bloody beating too!! :dead horse:

Lincoln? You were lucky. We walked to Darlington and had to go via Penzance because of a diversion and all the way there were hailstones as big as footballs.
What's more, we knew the game had been postponed before we set off but we went the whole way just to show our devotion to Fulham.
You came all this way ... and you lost, and you lost.
