Not really foolish to be worrying about not having signed anyone only one day before the window closes.

Understandable but over the course of fulhams history with the window we have hardly ever signed players mid window. So i guess not foolish, just concerned.

Difficult to know whether he will be a good signing. Spent a lot of time out last season injured, and only played seven time this season for Ajax, five from subs bench! Have we bought him? Is he another loan?

I think the club has written off the season and the players coming in all on loan. Didn't see panic just sadness and disappointment because of a bit of a wasted season. Still if we see a bit more pride and attack as we did last night then all should be ok.

I believe it is the same Mr Ska, Got banned for some reason or another. Back on topic I think it is clever of Jol to have gotten an option to buy on a few of these players, will make them need to impress if they want to stay in the premier league and the fact that it saves Fulham money until the summer. Who doesn't like a good 'Try before you buy' situation?.

Probably but one things is clear, we seem to do nearly all loan deals in January window for the past 4 season with option to do permanent deals. It is shrewd because it gives us first hand experience with the player without the risk. The club clearly doesn't want to pay the premium in this window so loan deals are the cheap way to go. It also may be that MAF doesn't want to commit contracts to players Jol wants as he is not convinced he will be here beyond this season. Minimize financial risk if Jol bails or is released.

I just hope the remainder of the season is a good one but I fear it is going to be a disappointment given how well we did last season and the start to this one.

Jol came out and said months ago that Fulham had triggered the 1 year option on his contract would MAF have done that so early in the season if he wasn't committed to keeping Jol. The first big signing of the summer should be Jol on a 2 year extension so that players we want in the summer know that we have a settled team.

I said I believe he was banned, I didn't say he was banned to suggest that I know the all the ins and outs with that story. I just assumed he was for one reason or another as to why it would be neccessary to create a new username, but if people actually read through what I said carefully instead of misconstruing my words then I wouldn't have to now be explaining my actions.
